Student Achievement Data 2023-2028

Ranger College evaluates student achievement using multiple criteria that are appropriate to its mission, which is “to transform lives and give students the skills to be a positive influence in their communities”.

The primary emphasis for evaluating student achievement is placed on four criteria:

  • Increase the number of certificate and degrees (credit & non-credit) awarded from 450 in 2023 to 600 by 2028 (SP 1.3 assessed in Weave)
  • Increase the fall-to -fall retention rate of full time students (excluding Vocational Nursing and Cosmetology students) from 30.3% (3-yr avg by 5% to 35.3% in fall 2024 to fall 2027 (SP 1.4 assessed in Weave)
  • Three-, four-, and six-year graduation rates (meet or exceed statewide averages) (assessed in administrative council meetings)
  • Transfer rates (increase to 35.81% by 2028 from baseline of 34.1% on 2021 report) (Assessed in administrative council meetings)

Ranger College evaluates student achievement using multiple criteria defined in its Strategic Plan that are appropriate to its mission, which is “to transform lives and give students the skills to be a positive influence in their communities”.

In accordance with the Strategic Plan Objectives 2.1 and 2.7, the primary emphasis for evaluating student achievement is placed on four criteria:

  • Fall-to-fall retention (increase by 4% per year from baseline of Fall 2017)
  • Three-, four-, and six-year graduation rates (meet or exceed statewide averages)
  • Transfer rates (increase by 5% per year from baseline 2017)
  • Licensure pass rates (Meet or exceed statewide averages)
