Dual Credit

Dual-credit courses through Ranger College are an affordable way for high school students to get a jump start on their future. Students take college courses that simultaneously move them towards both high school graduation and a college degree or certification.

Ranger College partners with ISD’s, private schools, and home schools to deliver quality dual credit courses. We provide personalized support to students, parents, high school counselors, administrators and others involved in our dual credit programs.

 

Benefits of Ranger College Dual Credit

Many students reduce the time to degree or certificate completion.

Courses transfer to most higher education institutions and rigorous college-level course work prepares students for a successful transition to college.

Students taking dual credit courses have access to important student support services such as tutoring, counseling, advising, and library services.

Ranger College offers smaller classes and more opportunities for individual attention to help retain younger and first-in-family students.
