Strategic Plan
The Ranger College Strategic Plan is a document that outlines our vision, mission, values, goals, and strategies for the next five years. It is the result of a process that involved input from all stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and board members. The plan reflects our commitment to academic excellence, student success, equity, and social responsibility. The plan serves as a roadmap for Ranger College to achieve its aspirations and to better the lives of its students.
The primary emphasis foe evaluating student achievement is placed on four criteria:
- Increase the number of certificates and degrees(credit & non-credit) awarded from 450 in 2023 to 600 by 2028 (assessed in Weave)
- Increase the fall-to-fall retention rate of full time students (excluding Vocational Nursing and Cosmetology students) from 30.3% (3-yr avg) by 5% to 35.3% in fall 2028 (assessed in Weave)
- Three, four, and six year graduation rates (meet or exceed statewide averages) (assessed in administrative council meetings)
- Transfer rates (increase to 35.81% by 2028 from baseline of 34.1% on 2021 report) (assessed in administrative council meetings)
Assessments of two of the strategic plan goals takes place annually with the strategic initiatives, success indicators, findings and analysis being recorded in the college’s repository software, Weave. Assessment of the other two goals takes place every summer at an administrative council meeting.
In addition, during 2023-2028, the College monitors indicators in the following areas:
