Who Needs To Be Certified In CPR?
- Healthcare Professionals: Registered Nurses, Doctors, Paramedics, and Allied Health personnel must maintain ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications every 2 years.
- All Healthcare Staff: BLS is required for everyone, regardless of license or certification.
- Community Professionals: CPR and First Aid are required for educators, childcare providers, first responders, and other high risk community positions.
How to Register:
- Complete the registration form for the Non-Credit Continuing Education Program.

Courses

Heartsaver CPR and First Aid training teaches participants how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course covers CPR, AED use, and basic first aid skills for adults, children, and infants. It is designed for individuals who need CPR and first aid certification for work, school, or personal preparedness and emphasizes hands-on practice and real-world scenarios.
Deadline: Must enroll and pay tuition by the first day of class.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is a critical training program designed to equip individuals with the skills needed to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on high-quality CPR, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and relief of choking for adults, children, and infants. BLS training is essential for healthcare professionals and first responders, helping them act quickly and confidently in emergency situations.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an advanced training course for healthcare providers that focuses on recognizing and treating life-threatening emergencies in infants and children. It covers rapid assessment, high-quality CPR, airway and breathing support, heart rhythm management, medication use, and effective team communication during pediatric resuscitation.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Training prepares healthcare professionals to respond confidently to cardiovascular emergencies. This course focuses on the recognition and management of cardiac arrest, stroke, acute coronary syndromes, and other life-threatening situations through hands-on practice, team-based scenarios, and evidence-based guidelines.
