Veteran Readiness & Employment (Chapter 31)

Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) assists veterans with service-connected disabilities in preparing for and maintaining meaningful employment.

  • Tuition and fees
  • Books, supplies, and required equipment
  • Career counseling and job placement assistance
  • Possible monthly subsistence allowance

  • Must have a service-connected disability rating from the VA
  • Must be approved by a VA Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor
  • Must have an employment handicap as determined by the VA

Students must work directly with a VA Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to determine eligibility and receive authorization for training.

Submit the following to the Financial Aid Office:

  • Authorization from your VA Counselor
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges
  • Degree Plan (completed by your Ranger College advisor)
