Please note that it is not mandatory to enter a Ranger ID number to submit a request.

Submit a picture I.D. NOTE: This is only required if you plan to enroll in online-only
courses and excludes all Dual Credit applicants. If you plan to register for online-only
courses, you will need to take a picture of yourself with your valid picture I.D.
An acceptable, valid picture I.D. includes state-issued, driver’s license, passport,
military-issued, etc. This picture will need to be emailed to the Registrar’s Office
at registrar@rangercollege.edu. If you are unsure if you have an acceptable I.D. or need assistance, please contact
the Registrar’s Office.
Complete financial aid process by visiting the FAFSA website. When completing your FAFSA, you’ll need Ranger’s “school code.” Please be aware
that priority deadlines exist for financial aid. Submit your financial aid application
as early as possible.

Students should submit official transcripts or a copy of their GED to the college
as well as their official college entrance, alternative, or exemption test scores
(if not already noted on transcript).

Exemption by the following exams:
- ACT Scores prior to February 15, 2023:
- English Language Arts & Reading (ELAR) - Composite score of 23 AND 19 or higher.
- Math - Composite score of 23 AND 19 or higher.
- ACT Scores on or after February 15, 2023
- English Language Arts & Reading (ELAR) - Combined score of 40 on the English and Reading
tests. There is no composite score.
- Math - Score of 22 on the Math test. There is no composite score
- SAT Scores - Testing must have been completed within the last 5 years. The scores
below apply as of the date, March 5, 2016:
- English Language Arts & Reading (ELAR) - 480 or above.
- Math - 530 or above
Additional Exceptions:
- Successfully completed college level coursework:
- Reading - Biology, History, Government, Psychology
- Writing - English Composition I
- Math - College Algebra, (Non-Algebra- Statistics, Contemporary Math)
- Previously earned an associate or baccalaureate degree
- Active duty or honorably discharged member of the armed forces
- Transient students (non-degree seeking)
Students who are NOT exempt from taking a placement test should schedule to take the

Under the requirements of a law enacted by the Texas State Legislature, students who
are under 22 years of age and entering higher education in the spring of 2014 (and
any semesters following) must demonstrate proof of vaccination against bacterial
meningitis. Bacterial Meningitis vaccinations are only good for 5 years, if it has been more
than 5 years since your last Bacterial Meningitis vaccine you must get an updated
shot before enrolling. Students should fill out the meningitis form on the right and select Option 1 or
2. If student chooses option 1, the following forms may be needed:
