Dual Credit Associate of Science

The Ranger College Dual Credit Associate of Science program allows high school students to begin earning college credits toward a science-focused degree while still in high school. This pathway is designed for students interested in fields such as healthcare, engineering, biology, chemistry, mathematics, technology, and other STEM-related careers.

The Associate of Science degree emphasizes coursework in mathematics and laboratory sciences while also incorporating the Texas Core Curriculum to build strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Students gain a solid academic foundation that prepares them for transfer to a four-year university and continued study in science and technical fields.
