Clery Act & Campus Security Act

The Jeanne Clery Act, originally known as the Student Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act, requires institutions of higher education to collect statistics concerning the incidence of certain crimes on campus. Ranger College complies with the Clery Act and publishes annual crime statistics as required. In accordance with FLBC(Local) and federal legislation, the College will also publish a Campus Hazing Transparency Report detailing any incidents of hazing by student organizations. At Ranger College this data is reported annually and is available from the office of the Dean of Student Life and on the college’s official website. In addition, this information is disseminated to new students during orientation and is published in the Ranger College Student Handbook.

The Clery Compliance Officer for Ranger College is Patti Woolam, and can be reached at pwoolam@rangercollege.edu or (254) 433-1617.
