Board of Regents General Election Information

Elections are held the first Saturday in May in even-numbered years. Important election dates, including filing deadlines, can be assessed through Secretary of State’s Elections Webpage.

The next scheduled election is Saturday, May 2, 2026 and will be held at Ranger Community Center, 718 Pine, Ranger, Texas 76470.

Place 2 – Gay Ann Wolford 2026
Place 3 – Vanna Dains, Secretary, 2030
Place 4 – Vacant 2026
Place 5 – Doug Crawley 2026
Place 6 – Jo Ann Greenwood 2026
Place 7 – Shawn Wells, Vice Chairman, 2028
Place 8 – Sandi Herod, 2028
Place 9 – Jackie Stephens, Chairman, 2028

Applications for places 2, 4, 5, and 6 on the election ballet are to be filed between January 14, 2026 through February 13, 2026 at 1240 College Circle, Ranger, TX 76470 or gmendoza@rangercollege.edu. Write in candidate deadline is February 17, 2026. You may download an Election Application.
