Women’s Track and Field
The Ranger College women’s track and field team is one of the nation’s top distance-running programs. The team has consistently ranked among the top squads in Region V and is a perennial contender at the NJCAA National Track and Field Championships. The team competes in events ranging from the 200-meter run to the grueling 10-kilometer. In recent years, the Rangers have sent numerous athletes to 4-year programs, including Freshia Ndungu (UTPB), Gladys Rutto (Auburn University), Benisse Inamahorro (Auburn University).

Men’s Track and Field
Consistently ranked among the nation’s best, the Ranger College men’s cross country program sports some of the top athletes in Region V, as well as the NJCAA ranks. Under the guidance of veteran coach Kathy Graham, the Rangers have been ranked among the top 15 small college teams in the U.S. for much of the last five years. The Rangers, who were ranked as high at No. 11 in the country, had five athletes earn NJCAA All-American honors in 2018. The team has propelled numerous runners into university programs all over Texas.
