TSI Testing is administered by two ways:
1. In-person testing
2. Virtual, through the Examity platform
See instructions below for both methods.
1. In-person testing: Administered at the Ranger Main Campus, Erath County Campus (Stephenville), Brown County (Early/Brownwood), and at various high schools for dual credit students.
There is no TSI testing on days online final exams are given.
Note: TSI testing times and the payment process varies by each individual campus. You should email each respective campus contact listed below for details.

The Ranger main campus testing center is located in the Student Success Center, classroom #1 and is administered on Tuesday’s beginning at 9:00 am. There is no registering or signing up, just show-up…first come, first served.

For Dual Credit students, contact your High School Counselor.
You must take the Pre-Assessment test prior to the TSI test
a. Pay your fee in advance and show your receipt of payment to the Testing Proctor.
b. Present a photo ID to the Proctor.
c. Be on time.
d. No cell phones allowed.
The fee is $30.00 for the complete TSI test consisting of the ELAR (Reading & Writing) & Math. $15.00 for a single test. You must present your receipt of payment and ID for testing.
Note: The updated TSI test by College Board groups the ELAR (Reading and Writing) together, they cannot be taken separately when testing for the first time.

2. Virtual Testing. Provide the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org:

Type of testing requested. The complete TSI testing is ELAR (Reading and Writing) and Math.
The Proctor will create a voucher for you through Examity. You will receive an email from Examity with further instructions. The student will be responsible for making payment of $25.00 to Examity.
