Scholarships

Ranger College offers a variety of scholarships.

Performing Scholarships

Available for baseball, basketball, choir, cross-country, debate, golf, rodeo, soccer, softball, and volleyball. All RC scholarships require full-time enrollment.

Honor Graduate Scholarships

Valedictorian of any accredited Texas high school is eligible for a one-year scholarship at RC as long as they attend immediately following high school graduation. Must enroll fulltime and in the first long term semester following graduation from high school.

Presidential Scholarship

The RC Presidential Scholarship is the most prestigious academic merit award given by the College and is based on exceptional academic performance, proven leadership, and demonstrated service. The award amount will cover full tuition, fees, and dorm room for one academic year (excluding summer) and is valued at $5230.  Download the application and apply for this scholarship.

Promise
Students who have attended a Dual Credit at a high school that has partnered with Ranger College may be able to receive our Promise Scholarship. Scholarship will vary based on completion of Dual Credit hours. Students must be enrolled full-time and is only awarded for the long term semesters and a maximum of 4 semesters. Regents
Students from a radius of 20 miles of Ranger College may apply for our Regents Scholarship. Applications must be submitted to the Ranger College Financial Aid office no later than one year after the student’s high school graduation. The scholarship will pay up to $625 per semester for 4 semesters. All Federal and State financial aid will pay first and Regents will pay last and only if there is any outstanding balance on the students account.
