Institutional Effectiveness

This section of the Ranger College website and its associated subpages provide information on the college’s institutional effectiveness activities and processes. In compliance with SACSCOC standard 7.1, Ranger College engages in ongoing, comprehensive, and research-based planning and evaluation processes that (a) focus on institutional quality and effectiveness and (b) incorporate a systematic review of institutional goals and outcomes consistent with its mission.

Institutional effectiveness at RC encompasses accreditation and assessment, with the latter item encompassing both the assessment of student learning outcomes at the program level and the assessment of annual outcomes for administrative units.
