Institutional Effectiveness

Institutional effectiveness (IE) at RC encompasses accreditation, assessment, and institutional research and is linked to the institution’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). Assessment encompasses both the assessment of student learning outcomes at the program level and the assessment of annual outcomes for administrative units. In accordance with SACSCOC Standard 7.1, the College engages in ongoing, comprehensive, and integrated research-based planning and evaluation processes that (a) focus on institutional quality and effectiveness and (b) incorporate a systematic review of institutional goals and outcomes consistent with its mission.
