Safe Face-to-Face Classes

Ranger College will return for face-to-face classes on August 24, following strict sanitation and social-distancing protocols.   We are prepared to pivot to hybrid or full Zoom classes if the situation changes during the semester.

Our Protocols

Our Safety & Security team, after studying current best practices, has compiled information about reopening campus and conducting safe activities.  Please refer to the documents below for full details.

Rules for All Campuses

Face Coverings are Mandatory. Properly worn face masks or cloth face coverings (covering both the nose and mouth) will be required in all classrooms, hallways, auditoriums, instructional spaces, and laboratories. All faculty, staff, students, and visitors are required to comply with this requirement.

Social Distancing Will Be Enforced: People should make every effort to stay 6 feet from other people. Please remember that wearing a face covering is not a substitute for social distancing.

Cleaning Will Happen Frequently: Disinfectants, hand sanitizer and other supplies will be available outside of each classroom and building. Additional time will be added between classes to allow time for rooms to be disinfected.

Students Will Complete COVID-19 Training: All students will be expected to complete a COVID-19 training module before coming to campus. This will be placed on their Blackboard account.
