Ranger College uses Google Gmail to provide you with an email account. If you are a new student at Ranger College your email will be set up by our IT department and available at least 3 business days before the first day of classes. If you do not have access by the first day of class, using your personal email, email the help desk at helpdesk@rangercollege.edu. You are REQUIRED to login to your email to access your course materials.

o You will first be prompted to change your password. If you should forget your password or have problems logging into your email, PLEASE contact our IT Department at
helpdesk@rangercollege.edu.
o If your email in Canvas does not match the format listed above, please contact the IT Department at helpdesk@rangercollege.edu.

What you will find on your Campus Connect:
- Schedule, Grade Viewer, Transcripts, Degree Audit
- Account options: Balance and payments
- Financial Aid award information
- Username: Students can use their RC student ID number or Social Security number with no dots or dashes.
- Password: Students 8 digit birthday (MMDDYYYY) with no dashes or slashes.

Canvas is our online classroom platform. It is a web-based learning management system. This is where you will find your assignments, tests, quizzes, etc.
