Ranger College Nursing Program
Ranger College offers a program for the training of vocational nurses with approval from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Board of Nursing. The program is available in Early, Comanche, and Ranger.
Upon satisfactory completion of the program, the student is awarded a Certificate of Completion, which entitles the student to take the licensing examination given by the State Board of Nursing. Those passing this examination will be qualified to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas. Graduates are privileged to wear the school cap and pin.

- 1. Passing DET Score (Visit http://nursing-exams.ca/exams/det.html): $20, 3 attempts maximum

- 3. Basic Anatomy & Physiology (Non-credit)

Q: Where do I go to apply to the college?
A: Go to the Ranger College website, click on “Admissions.” Then click “Apply Today.” Complete your personal information and click “Submit Your Completed Application.” Now you have applied and are in the Ranger College System.
Q: What do I do after I have applied to the college?
A: You will need to gather any and all official transcripts and deliver them to any of our campuses or send them to the Registrar at 1100 College Circle, Ranger TX, 76470. The seal on the envelope must not be broken.
Q: How do I obtain financial aid?
A: Apply for your financial aid on the FASFA website at FAFSA.gov. Direct all Financial Aid questions to the Financial Aid department located at the Ranger Main Campus at 254.647.3234, ext. 217.
