You need a Preparation outline complete with all 8 of the rules listed for preparation outlines

MLA format for your sources

Minimum 3 sources at least 2 non-internet

You need to Speak from a Speaking Outline – follow the speaking outline guidelines too.

Do not take anything other than your speaking outline and your visual aids (no visual aid required) up with you. You will turn in everything you take up there to me. I will staple it to the preparation outline you give me. You don’t take a preparation outline up there with you; it’s all mine. (Evil laugh)

Spell check is your friend.

Persuasive Speech Assignment

Everything the same as the Informative speech assignment except for the following:

Minimum 5 sources at least 3 non-internet sources.

Visual Aid Required

Oh and its persuasive and not informative… that is an important distinction.
