How to Find a Book at RC

From the library:

1.  Click on the icon that says "Spectrum Patron's Catalog."

2.  Select your method of searching, either Keyword, Title, Author, or Subject.

3.  Type in your search words.  If you know the title of the book, type in the title.  If you are looking for works by a particular author, type in the author's name like this:  last name, first name.  If you're looking for information on a particular topic, use the keyword search and type in as few words as possible.

4.  Hit search.

5.  All items matching your criteria will be listed with the Call Number located on the left side of the screen.  WRITE THE CALL NUMBER DOWN!  To find out what a call number is and how it works, click here.

7.  Locate the item on the shelves.  If you need help, ASK A LIBRARIAN.

From home:

1.  Go to the Ranger College home page and click on Library.

2.  In the top left hand corner, click on Search Catalog.

3.  Select your method of searching.

7.  Go to the Golemon Library and locate the item on the shelves.  If you need help, ASK A LIBRARIAN.
